The removable retainer plate at the bar's end prevents the miter bar from flipping, crucial for wider crosscuts.

The steel protractor head is bottom-coated with nylon for smooth gliding, and the included mounting fence brackets allow you to configure an auxiliary fence in square alignment to your worktable. The compact design makes it easy to store and carry, and it can be used with table saws, routers, band saws, disk sanders, belt sanders, and more. The miter gauge works well with any machine that has a 3/8 x 3/4 t-slot, and the required hardware is included.
